Sweet Home Chicago

Wander through the real candy land in our
own backyard. Historian Beth Kimmerle leads a
confectionery adventure throughout the city, making sweet stops at
Fannie May, Blommer Chocolate, the Wrigley Building, and Vosges Haut
Chocolat.

Studs Terkel’s Chicago
Saturday, March 6, 1:00–5:00 p.m.
Studs Terkel called Chicago home for much
of his life and developed a love affair with the Windy City. Beginning
at the Museum, where Studs was a scholar-in-residence, and traveling to
various city sites, journalist Andrew Patner takes you
on the journey of a Chicago icon’s life.

Haymarket and the Labor Trail
Saturday, May 1, 1:00–5:00 p.m.
It’s May Day! Labor historian Jeffrey Helgeson leads you on an exploration of the events, places, and people behind Chicago’s labor history. This tour showcases the many dramatic struggles and generations of working-class life in our city’s turbulent past.

Refund Policy:
Refunds for a tour will be given in the form of tour credit which can
be applied to another tour. Credit will be given with a minimum of two
weeks notice prior to the day of the tour. No exceptions.
