What’s the Beef?

Americans have been dining on grain-fed beef for the last 60 years. But which is better for both man and animal—grain-fed or grass-fed? Join Bill Kurtis for an examination of the cattle industry. Presented in collaboration with the Culinary Historians of Chicago.

Put the Nuns in Charge
Sunday, August 24, 2:00 p.m.
Chicago's Royal George Theatre returns to the Museum for a special one-time-only performance. Sister is back in the classroom, and the Seven Deadly Sins have never been funnier. This time she's talking about everything from skirt lengths to cell phones, iPods to eBay. Despite today's modern problems, everything in Sister's world relates back to her Catholic upbringing.
This performance is presented in conjunction with the Catholic Chicago exhibition.

Chic Chicago Preview

Get a first look at the new Chic Chicago: Couture Treasures from the Chicago History Museum exhibition at this preview party. Meet the curator, enjoy cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres, and mingle with the fashion elite.

Refunds for a tour will be given in the form of tour credit which can be applied to another tour. Credit will be given with a minimum of two weeks notice prior to the day of the tour. No exceptions.
