West Side from the Lake Street Bridge
West Side from the Lake Street Bridge The Waud Drawings
The point of view here is from near the northwest corner of the South Division, north of the bridge and south of where the main branch of the Chicago River forks north and south. The Lake Street Bridge was the only one in the vicinity of the downtown to make it through the fire.
