The souvenir bells came in different sizes and containers. On the left, a larger bell in its own presentation case. On the right, an ensemble of two dozen tiny bells and six coins in another of H.S. Everhart & Company's plush jewelry boxes. On one side of the coins is a phoenix and flames, surrounded by the words, "Made from Chicago Court House Bell/Semper Resurgens." On the other side is a woman riding a phoenix above burning buildings, with an inscription linking the fire and Chicago's first legendary disaster, the Fort Dearborn massacre of 1812.
