Bird's-Eye Views of the City
As part of its extensive coverage of the disaster, Harper's Weekly, the leading illustrated national magazine of contemporary cultural life, included one more overview of pre-fire Chicago. Harper's resourcefully used this as a basis of its image of Chicago aflame.
