Good as Gold, 1896 Resurrexit!
The drawing above from the Tribune of October 9, like the lead editorial the same day, directly links the resurrected city (which seems to radiate beams of light) that has risen from the old to McKinley, sound money, and national honor. In addition to the "sound money" and "free silver parades" that day, the North Side Businessmen's Association held yet another, non-partisan if still pro-business, procession.
